Most TV wall mounting jobs are used with flat brackets, but I provide also more intricate TV wall hanging, for example fitting full motion bracket on plasterboard. That job requires more preparation and it requires a longer time to fit. The cost of fitting TV's on plasterboard walls is dependent on every particular case.

Whatever your TV type is, OLED, QLED or LCD plasma, I will mount it on the wall for you. I can also supply TV mount brackets, just give me a call and provide the details of your TV so I can supply the correct bracket for you (subject to availability).

To provide an accurate estimate for mounting flat screen TV on the wall, please provide the size of your TV, if it goes on brick walls or plasterboard walls (knock on the wall, if hollow, then very likely plasterboard), and what bracket to hang on - flat, tilted or full motion (on long arm move both sides).

Most of my customers have a fitting bracket, but in case you need one to be supplied, I can provide it for you as long it is VESA standard. VESA standard means that mounting holes on the back of TV are in 10 cm increments. If you are not sure, just look at the description, often also printed on the packaging, or simply ask the manufacturer. For sourcing TV brackets  please provide the following information:

• TV size
• is it VESA standard or not
• If not VESA standard, then exact model of TV
• what bracket do you require (flat, tilted, or full motion)

Before installation, when requesting a quote for TV mounting services, please provide the following information:

• What is TV size
• If you already got mounting bracket, which one you got (flat, tilted, or full motion)
• What wall it need to be installed on

My last point is the most important as most TV brackets are supplied with fixings suitable for solid brick walls only. Those fixings are NOT suitable for mounting TV's on other types of wall (for example, on plasterboard). I have been called to refit fallen down TV's from the wall where the homeowner mounted the TV on plasterboard as he learnt from YouTube video. The guy on the video didn't explain about different fixings and different types of wall structures, hence TV mounted on a wall  failed. I appreciate people do DIY, but please do some research and keep basic rules of safety in mind - use the correct fixings for putting TV on the wall.

Here are most common pitfalls of DIY TV mount on the wall I am called to:
